Gatula Labs is the IT and digital systems studio operated by Gatula ehf. in Iceland. We design, build and maintain websites, platforms, automations, backend systems and infrastructure for businesses that need more than a generic online presence.

The goal is not only launch day. The goal is a foundation that can grow without becoming chaos.
A deposit may be required before an agreed stage starts. Its amount, due date and how it is credited are set out in the written project terms. It forms part of the agreed price, not an extra charge. A separate capacity-reservation fee exists only if expressly agreed with its own clear conditions.
For ordinary contractual termination, we settle properly performed work and accepted, unavoidable external commitments, credit payments already made and refund the unused advance balance within the agreed settlement period. The whole deposit does not become non-refundable merely because time was reserved. Statutory consumer withdrawal follows its own rules, including any lawful proportionate payment for a properly requested early start. Consumer rights are not replaced by the ordinary termination formula.
Extra pages, features, languages, integrations, design rounds, API changes, urgent work, content rewriting or server tasks outside the approved scope may increase the price and timeline. We prefer confirming changes in writing before doing them.
